YEAR 2026
TYPE Flooring Installation
Before the renovation, the home’s main living areas and hallways felt fractured and closed-in due to mismatched floor coverings. A combination of worn, orange-toned laminate sheets in the living room and thick, dated ceramic floor tiles with dark grout lines in the hallways disrupted the visual flow. The contrasting materials and multiple transitions between spaces broke up the floor plan, making the rooms feel smaller and cluttered.
The redesign focused on creating a seamless, unified expanse across the entire level. We stripped away the old laminate and tile layers, prepping the subfloor to carry high-durability, premium timber-look hybrid flooring continuously through the living zones and intersecting hallways. The warm, mid-tone wood grain reflects natural light beautifully from the sliding glass doors, smoothing out transitions and creating the illusion of a much larger, more open floor plan. Finished with crisp white quad molding along the skirting boards, the new floor provides a clean, modern, and cohesive foundation that instantly elevates the entire interior.
